one must be wary of the following:

Do not go out on the tracks alone if you feel that weather conditions are too severe.

Footing - slippery surfaces
Poor visibility
Sound may be muffled
Hazards may be covered by snow

Dress in layers and in extreme cold take avoid any unnecessary exposure. Also be aware of the potential of frost
bite, especially on exposed skin surfaces. Many victems were not aware of it's onset so it is important to
keep an eye on your fellow workers.

Always wear your proper P.P.E. Whether it be a hard hat, gloves or safety glasses, even when
you think only the most remote possibilty exists for an accident.
